WSPMA Legislative Day Is Coming — January 27, 2026

History is about to be made. WSPMA will host its first-ever State Legislative Day on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, on the North Steps of the State Capitol in Olympia, and we want every member standing with us as we launch this new tradition.

This day is built for one purpose: to elevate the voice of Washington’s pest management industry. Together, we’ll connect with legislators, share our stories, and highlight how our work protects public health, property, and local communities statewide. Legislative Day will quickly become one of our strongest tools for shaping the policies that influence our businesses, and this inaugural year sets the tone for everything that follows.

And yes—we’re bringing the bugs.
Edible crickets, hissing cockroaches, even a few spiders. These interactive displays make it easy to engage lawmakers, spark conversations, and create memorable moments. Members are encouraged to invite their legislators and staff for a quick photo op on the steps. It’s fun, it breaks down barriers, and it opens the door to meaningful dialogue.

More details—including the agenda, talking points, and scheduling guidance—will be shared soon. For now, circle January 27 in bold and plan to be in Olympia as we show the strength, professionalism, and unity of our industry.

If your company would like to help support this milestone event, contributions are welcome and appreciated.

We’ll see you on the Capitol steps.
Let’s make history together.
