As an Association we strive to create an environment that allows industry awareness and a sense of comradery. Our relationships with Members of the WSPMA are open and honest and help to provide self discipline. WSPMA 2026 General Membership Meeting Highlights Growth, Advocacy and Member Engagement

WSPMA members gathered in Leavenworth on August 22 for the 2026 General Membership Meeting, reviewing strong membership growth, improved financial reserves, legislative advocacy, education programs, PWIPM and PestVets initiatives, and upcoming elections. Members also discussed the NPMA partnership, the new Members Get Members campaign, pesticide disposal, and plans for WSPMA’s 70th anniversary in 2027. The meeting reflected continued growth in participation, programming, and industry engagement across Washington.

Join WSPMA September 27–29 in Vancouver, Washington, for Rodent Academy Training, an immersive program combining rodent biology, control strategies, exclusion, regulatory updates, and hands-on field experience. Learn from leading industry experts before putting your skills to work during a real-world rodent management and exclusion field lab. WSDA has approved 15 CEUs, with Oregon credits pending. Upcoming PCO Pre-License Training in Puyallup – August & September

WSU Pesticide Resources and Education is offering two upcoming PCO Pre-License Training courses in Puyallup, August 25–27 and September 22–24. Training covers Washington pesticide laws and regulations, PCO General, and PCO Structural topics to help prepare participants for licensing exams. A limited WSDA testing session is planned following the August course. WSPMA members are encouraged to register employees who need training and share these opportunities with others in the pest management industry.
