This course explains how to utilize K9 bed bug detection teams as part of an IPM or ABP pest control plan. The course includes general bed bug behavior, biology and identification. Inspection practices, reporting and grading of infestations are covered in detail. Treatment options and timing of post treatment K9 deployments are also covered. This course also covers common bed
bug treatment practices and how they affect the timing of K9 inspections.
Two credit hours will be applied for in WA only.
